Our goal is to help foster sustainable communities and healthy living environments through innovative building science solutions and collaborative relationships with decision-makers in the construction industry.
E3 was created in 2002 in response to an increasing demand for effective building science tools and green construction practices. We are currently addressing one of the most critical problems facing homeowners and the nation at large: rising energy costs.
We are strongly committed to working with and educating private home-owners in the lifestyles and building practices that improve the health and energy efficiency of their homes.
We provide practical home efficiency solutions through consultation and testing.
Based on a systems approach, we apply integrated building science tools to analyze and evaluate the health, performance, and durability of residential and small-scale commercial structures. Our tools provide builders with specifications to enhance performance standards and recommendations to achieve those standards throughout the construction process.
E3 Energy is actively involved with local, state and national government agencies and non-profits pursuing the development of new building science tools, technologies and standards to forge a healthier, greener, and more efficient building industry.
